Valenzuela mayor leads distribution of allowance to BPLD volunteers
Valenzuela City - Mayor WES Gatchalian spearheaded the distribution of financial allowances to the Bantay Pamayanan Laban sa Droga (BPLD) volunteers on June 5, 2023, at the ALERT Multi-Purpose Hall. In his speech, he expressed gratitude to the BPLD volunteers for their invaluable contribution in maintaining peace and order for the #PamilyangValenzuelano through their active participation in the anti-drug campaign. Approximately 750 volunteers received the said benefit.
The BPLD volunteers play a crucial role in ensuring the safety and well-being of the community by actively patrolling and reporting suspicious activities related to illegal drugs. Mayor WES Gatchalian acknowledged their dedication and emphasized the importance of their efforts in creating a drug-free environment for the residents of Valenzuela City.
