Valenzuela City Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office (VCDRRMO) spearheaded a training on basic first aid and life support for barangay ambulance drivers this month of March. The training aimed to equip drivers with the necessary knowledge and skills to provide initial care and response during emergencies.

The program included lectures and practical exercises on essential first aid procedures such as cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR), wound management, and immobilization techniques. Participants also received training on how to properly respond and manage different emergency situations.

Starting tomorrow, March 10, 2023, the drivers will undergo the Ford Driving Skills For Life Training to further hone their driving skills and become more prepared in their response. The said training will cover various driving techniques, defensive driving, and decision-making skills.
