Valenzuela mayor grants TCTs to homeowners group
Valenzuela City Mayor WES Gatchalian took the lead in a momentous event as he awarded Transfer Certificates of Title (TCT) to the members of the Manolo Compound Dalandanan (MACODA) Homeowners Association Inc. on May 17, 2023. The ceremony took place at the Manolo Compound in Barangay Dalandanan, marking a significant milestone for the community.
The granting of the TCTs was made possible through the Community Mortgage Program (CMP) initiated by the Social Housing Finance Corporation (SHFC). This program aims to provide secure land tenure and affordable housing options to low-income families, ensuring their stability and enabling them to build a better future.
Mayor WES Gatchalian, known for his commitment to community development and social welfare, emphasized the importance of homeownership in empowering individuals and fostering vibrant communities. He recognized the significance of the TCTs as tangible evidence of the residents' rightful ownership of their homes, granting them a sense of pride and security.
The event brought together members of the MACODA Homeowners Association Inc., who eagerly awaited the formal turnover of their TCTs. With these certificates, the homeowners gain legal recognition of their properties, protecting them from potential disputes and securing their long-term residency in the Manolo Compound.
The Community Mortgage Program has played a vital role in making affordable housing a reality for the MACODA residents. Through the collaborative efforts of the local government, the SHFC, and the homeowners themselves, the dream of homeownership has been achieved. The program provides access to low-interest financing, enabling families to acquire and develop their own properties.
Mayor WES Gatchalian commended the perseverance and unity of the MACODA community throughout the journey towards homeownership. He acknowledged their dedication and active participation in the development of their neighborhood, reinforcing the spirit of community and shared responsibility.
The awarding of the TCTs signifies not only the fulfillment of individual homeowners' aspirations but also the progress of Valenzuela City as a whole. By providing secure land tenure and affordable housing opportunities, the local government aims to improve the quality of life for its residents and create sustainable communities.
The ceremony concluded with heartfelt expressions of gratitude from the MACODA members, who expressed their appreciation to Mayor WES Gatchalian, the SHFC, and all those involved in making their homeownership dreams a reality. The event served as a testament to the commitment of Valenzuela City in promoting equitable and inclusive housing programs.
With the TCTs in their hands, the members of the MACODA Homeowners Association Inc. can now enjoy the peace of mind and stability that come with owning a home. The awarding of these certificates represents a significant step towards creating a stronger and more resilient community, one where residents can thrive and build a brighter future for themselves and their families.
