Taguig to provide allowance to qualified TCU students
As the Taguig City government continues to regard education with importance, around 5,000 qualified TCU students are set to receive their allowances through the Taguig Scholarship Office at Cayetano Science High School starting November 10.
The Over-the-Counter Scholarship Allowance Release (OTC SAR) for City Educational Assistance Allowance (CEAA) will take place until the 20th of November. Eligible students will receive their P5,000 - P10,000 allowance depending on their semestral weighted average.
Precautionary measures set by the IATF and Taguig City Government such as wearing face mask and face shield, observing one (1) meter physical distancing, bringing of alcohol and hand-sanitizer for personal sanitation, and avoiding unnecessary conversation to avoid risks are a must during the ongoing distribution. Scholars were divided into 5 or 6 time clusters, and were advised to arrive 15 minutes prior to their time slot, so they may be accommodated promptly as well as to avoid congestion and mass gathering.
The local government of Taguig, together with Taguig City University, is ecstatic to make further announcements as the city sets-up for next year when TCU welcomes more than six thousand enrollees.
TCU has been a top destination for Taguigen%u0303os, but it also has more than 55k scholars from about 200 other universities like PUP, TUP, and schools of academic excellence such as the University of the Philippines, Ateneo, and De La Salle.
