Only fully vaccinated adults are allowed to enter bars and clubs in Taguig, the city government said in a report by Manila Bulletin.

The Taguig Safe City Task Force issued Advisory No. 58 on the operation of bars and clubs in the city.

“Only fully vaccinated adults shall be allowed to enter the premises and undertake allowed activities in bars and clubs,” according to the city task force.

Fully vaccinated adults need to present their valid proof of vaccination. For people who got their vaccine in Taguig, they need to show their Taguig Vaccination Card or Digital Vaccine Health Pass.

Those who got the jabs outside Taguig must show their vaccination certificate. A valid government-issued ID with picture and address is also needed.

“To avoid crowding, all bars and clubs must post the maximum number of people allowed in all entrances. All bars and clubs are highly encouraged to utilize an appointment system using online apps or web portals, or thru a mobile or landline hotline,” according to the advisory.

It added, “All establishments used for gatherings and parties, including bars and clubs, are highly encouraged to restrict the use of common areas and dance floors in order to effectively enforce social distancing.”

Establishments also need to post health and safety standard and reminders in the venue for the information of guests and customers.

Based on the guidelines of the Inter-Agency Task Force (IATF), bars and clubs are allowed to operate at a 50 percent venue or seating capacity for indoor areas and spaces, and up to 70 percent venue or seating capacity for outdoor areas.

“All staff and employees of bars and clubs must be fully vaccinated. All unvaccinated staff and employees may register online with the Taguig Registry for Access and Citizen Engagement (TRACE) at https://trace.taguig.gov.ph to schedule their vaccinations,” the Taguig task force said.

In addition, the city government said face masks may only be removed while drinking or eating at their designated seat or table; social distancing of not less than one meter must be strictly observed; and physical contact must be reduced.

“While businesses are being allowed to open gradually, vulnerable individuals such as minors, those above sixty-five (65) years of age and those with comorbidities are highly encouraged to stay home,” it said.

The city task force said, “The implementation of the guidelines provided above shall be closely and regularly monitored.”

“Any person in violation of these guidelines shall be penalized in accordance with Republic Act No. 11332, otherwise known as the ‘Mandatory Reporting of Notifiable Diseases and Health Events of Public Health Concern Act’ in relation to Presidential Proclamation No. 922, Taguig City Ordinance No. 24, Series of 2020, otherwise known as the ‘New Normal Ordinance of Taguig City’ and other applicable laws and ordinances. This will be without prejudice to the filing of an administrative case if the violator is a government official or employee,” it said.
