Taguig holds SBIRT seminars
To further strengthen the City's campaign against illegal drugs, the city government held a series of Screening, Brief Intervention and Referral Treatment (SBIRT) seminars.
Seventy-five new Department of Health (DOH) Accredited Screeners attended the final seminar today at the Kalayaan Hall, Taguig Satellite Office, SM Aura Tower, where the city government, through the Taguig Anti-Drug Abuse Council (TADAC), conducted lectures on RA 9165 or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act, and the Ill Effects of Drugs in Health and Prevention, and Control of Drug Abuse.
The previous seminars designed to help make SBIRT screeners more efficient in their roles were held from June 21-23, 2022.

Taguig City Mayor Lani Cayetano attended the event and gave her inspirational message to the attendees. She asked the city officials and departments to continue to serve whole-heartedly and vowed to further support the campaign against illegal drugs and its programs.
Among the attendees and lecturers were TADAC Head Hilario Cruz, Committee on Health Chair Coun. Rodil "Tikboy" Marcelino, DOH Accredited Physician Dr. Ruel De Vera Jr., Officer PCpl Louie Alison Sindac, Bahay Pag-Asa Head Jennylyn Camsol, BFP Staff SF02 Annabelle Alingin and F01 Kenji Garcia.
