Vice Mayor Angelo Agcaoili sworn into office

San Juan City welcomed its new Vice Mayor, Angelo Agcaoili, as he took his oath of office in a solemn ceremony held at the San Juan City Hall on Monday, June 26, 2023. The event marked the official transfer of responsibilities from the late Vice Mayor Warren Villa to Vice Mayor Agcaoili, who will now serve as the second-highest official in the city.

The oath-taking ceremony, held during the flag-raising ceremony, was attended by Vice Mayor Agcaoili's family, including his wife Lia, their son Jacob, his father Rico, and his sister Mic. The transition of office and authority from Vice Mayor Villa to Vice Mayor Agcaoili adheres to the provisions stated in the San Juan City Charter. According to the charter, the highest-ranking member of the Sanggunian, based on votes received, assumes the vacant position of the Vice Mayor.
