San Juan City Mayor Francis Zamora, together with his wife Keri, the founder of the Caring Keri Foundation, partnered with the Makati Medical Center, Operation Blessing, and the Embassy of Israel to launch the ISHA Project this morning. The project aims to provide free health services to 70 women-beneficiaries in celebration of Women’s Month.

The beneficiaries will receive free PAP smear, breast exam, and consultation. In case a beneficiary tests positive, the Makati Medical Center Foundation and Operation Blessing will provide assistance in seeking treatment. Operation Blessing will also distribute medicines and vitamins to the women, while the Makati Medical Center Foundation and the Embassy of Israel will provide them with loot bags.

The project is made possible through Mashav, the Israeli agency for international development cooperation in the ministry of foreign affairs. The embassy of Israel is one of the partners in this project, and Ambassador Ilan Fluss headed their delegation.
