The collaborative effort between Metro Manila Council President and San Juan City Mayor Francis Zamora, Land Transportation Office (LTO) Regional Director Atty. Noreen San Luis-Lutey, and MMDA Chairman Romando S. Artes resulted in a significant stride towards efficient traffic management with the launch of the single ticketing system at the San Juan City Hall Atrium.

At the launch event, the MMDA pledged thirty handheld devices to San Juan City. These devices will serve as vital tools for issuing violation tickets to drivers found contravening twenty common traffic violations.

This joint initiative aims to streamline enforcement procedures and ensure greater adherence to traffic regulations within the city.

In addition to the provision of the handheld devices, the MMDA further bolstered this system by supplying each city with dedicated desktop units. These units are specifically designed for real-time monitoring of the data gathered from the handheld devices, facilitating swift and accurate record-keeping of violations.

The implementation of this single ticketing system stands as a testament to the commitment of local government units, regulatory agencies, and the MMDA to enhance traffic management strategies in Metro Manila.

It represents a proactive approach towards addressing traffic violations while promoting better road discipline for the safety and convenience of the public.
