Makabagong San Juan barangay caravan: A one-stop shop for free services
In a pioneering effort to provide comprehensive assistance to the San Juaneños, the inaugural "Makabagong San Juan Barangay Caravan" has been introduced. This unique event is a one-stop shop brimming with a wide array of free services tailored to cater to the needs of the community.
The first destination for this innovative caravan is the Corazon de Jesus barangay. Set to take place today at the local basketball court, the event will run from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Councilor Islao Cabubas and other barangay council members from Corazon de Jesus will be present to grace the occasion.
Furthermore, the Department of Agriculture's "KADIWA ON WHEELS" initiative will be an integral part of the Makabagong San Juan Barangay Caravan. Operating from 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM, this segment of the event is open to all. Residents are encouraged to take advantage of this opportunity to purchase fresh vegetables, fruits, rice, eggs, and other locally produced goods at affordable prices, all while supporting local farmers.
Vice Mayor Angelo Agcaoili will also join the event, underscoring the city's commitment to community engagement and welfare.
San Juan City Mayor Francis Zamora expressed his enthusiasm for the event and encouraged everyone to participate. This new initiative reflects the city's dedication to fostering a sense of togetherness, providing essential services, and promoting local agriculture.
Residents are invited to come and be a part of this exciting event, reaffirming the strong community spirit that defines San Juan City.
