QCPD arrests 23 illegal drug suspects

Quezon City Police District (QCPD) Director, Police Brigadier General Nicolas D Torre III, announced the arrest of 23 drug suspects and confiscation of P421,700.00 worth of illegal drugs in separate buy-bust operations conducted by different police station and units of QCPD.

PLTCOL Elizabeth Jasmin, the Station Commander of Fairview Police Station (PS 5), identified the suspects as Aubrey Fallorina, 41 y/o; Marichu Labajo, 34y/o; Julie Ann Austino, 38y/o, all residents of Brgy. Bahay Toro, Quezon City; and Bobeth Vasquez, 40y/o, resident of San Mateo, Rizal.

A buy-bust operation was conducted at about 1:30 AM of December 1, 2022 along Commonwealth Ave corner Camaro St. Brgy. Greater Fairview, Quezon City after a confidential informant reported about their illegal drug peddling activities.


Confiscated were 20 grams of shabu valued at Php136,000.00, the buy-bust money, and a cellular phone used in their drug transaction.

District Drug Enforcement Unit (DDEU) under PMAJ Hector Ortencio in coordination with PDEA, RO-NCR arrested in a buy-bust operation Paolo Palma alias “Chokoy”, 22 y/o, a resident of Brgy. Sangandaan, Quezon City and was arrested at about 12:40 AM of December 1, 2022 in front of Calamba St., Sto. Domingo, Quezon City. Confiscated were 14 grams of shabu valued at Php95,200.00, a cellular phone, the buy-bust money and a Honda Beat Motorcycle.

Also, DDEU operatives arrested Frederick Tactay, 27 y/o, resident of Brgy. Sauyo, Quezon City and Christopher Suerte, 48 y/o, resident of Sauyo Rd., Novaliches, Quezon City at about 1:10 AM of November 30, 2022 at Saturnina Compound beside Basketball Court Brgy. Sauyo, Quezon City. Confiscated were seven grams of shabu valued at Php45,500.00, the buy-bust money, and a cellular phone.

Masambong Police Station (PS 2) under PLTCOL Resty Damaso arrested in a buy-bust operation Louie Lava, 39 y/o and Pepito Valenzuela, 40 y/o, both residents of Brgy. Del Monte, Quezon City at about 5:15 AM of November 30, 2022 in front of No. 67 West Riverside St., Brgy. Del Monte, Quezon City. Confiscated were four sachets of shabu valued at Ph34,000.00, and the buy-bust money.

Batasan Police Station (PS 6) under PLTCOL Morgan Aguilar arrested in three separate buy-bust operations Aries Gabriel Benitez, 42 y/o; Hazel Duay, 47 y/o; Bryan Hilario, 21 y/o; Peejay Dimakiling, 21 y/o; and Conrad Cardona Sta. Maria alias “Conrad”, 41 y/o, all residents of Brgy. Batasan Hills, Quezon City at about 12:55 and 5:50 in the afternoon of November 30, 2022 at Brgy. Batasan Hills, Quezon City. Confiscated were six grams of shabu valued at Ph40,800.00 and the buy-bust money.

In another buy-bust operation, PS 6 operatives arrested Christopher Caindoc Otico, 29 y/o, resident of Brgy. Concepcion Uno, Marikina City; Spencer Labuca Delfino, 26 y/o, resident of Brgy. Malaya, Quezon City; Jaypee Breezindine Mendoza, 24 y/o, resident of Brgy. Sikatuna Village, Quezon City; Prince Ezykiel Tulio Garilao, 23 y/o, resident of Brgy Central, Quezon City; Jian Carlo Serrano, 27 y/o, resident of Project 4, Quezon City; and Kevin De Jesus, 28 y/o, resident of Platinum Ville, San Nicolas 3, Bacoor, Cavite. They were arrested along Matapang St., near corner Mapagbigay St., Brgy. Central, Quezon City at about 11:50 PM of November 30, 2022. Confiscated were five grams of shabu valued at Ph34,000.00, five cellular phones, and the buy-bust money.

Galas Police Station (PS 11) under PLTCOL Richard Ian T Ang arrested in a buy-bust operation Jesmer Lacia, 29 y/o, a resident of Brgy. Payatas, Quezon City, at about 1:30 AM of November 30, 2022 along Mindanao Ave. corner Santol St., Brgy. Sto. Niño, Quezon City. Confiscated from the suspect were four grams of shabu valued at Php27,200.00, and the buy-bust money.

Payatas Bagong Silangan Police Station (PS 13) under PLTCOL Roldante Sarmiento arrested in a buy-bust operation Cesar Manlongat, 45 y/o and Jocelyn Dela Cruz, 47 y/o, both residents of Brgy. Payatas, Quezon City at about 5:45 PM of November 30, 2022 along Bulacan St. Blk 48, Brgy. Payatas A, Quezon City. Confiscated from the suspects were six grams of marijuana valued at Php9,000.00, and the buy-bust money.

The suspects will be charged with violation of R.A. 9165 or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.

PBGEN Torre III commended his men for their continuous and aggressive anti-drug and anti-criminality operations. “Patuloy ang ating mahigpit na kampanya laban sa illegal na droga at kriminalidad upang atin itong masugpo. Muli, hinihingi ko po ang kooperasyon ng ating mga mamamayan na magsumbong kung may alam na iligal na gawain sa kani-kanilang mga lugar,” he added.
