At least 800 customers flocked to a discount store on Panay Avenue in Quezon City to avail of products in exchange for onions on Feb. 4, according to a report by Manila Bulletin.

The Japan Home Centre (JHC) announced a one-day “pay with sibuyas” promo which allows customers to pay with onions their selected products. It said one onion is equal to one JHC item.

According to JHC, each customer can avail of three items and only products below P88 can be paid with onions.
