Holy Family School of QC brings joy to QC Jail Female Dormitory
Students and staff of Holy Family School of Quezon City brought joy to the Persons Deprived of Liberty (PDL) at the QC Jail Female Dormitory when they visited recently. The students and the PDL performers showcased their talents, bringing smiles and cheers to everyone in attendance. The HFSQCI students also presented a video that showcased the various programs and initiatives at the facility that help the PDLs become productive members of society.
The visit was a meaningful way for the students and staff of HFSQCI to reach out to the PDLs and show them that they are not forgotten. It was an opportunity for both the students and the PDLs to learn from each other and to see things from different perspectives. The visit was also a way to remind everyone that despite the differences in their circumstances, they are all human beings who deserve respect and kindness.
Before the program ended, the PDLs received food packs and toiletries from the visitors. The gifts were a small gesture of kindness that can go a long way in showing the PDLs that they are not alone and that people still care about them.
The visit to the QC Jail Female Dormitory was a part of the school's outreach program that aims to help underprivileged communities and to promote the values of kindness and service among its students. The program is also a way for the school to instill in its students the importance of being socially responsible and to develop empathy towards those who are less fortunate.
The HFSQCI's visit to the QC Jail Female Dormitory is a testament to the school's commitment to helping others and making a positive impact in society. Through its various outreach programs and initiatives, the school continues to promote compassion, empathy, and social responsibility among its students and staff. It's a school that is not just focused on academic excellence but on developing well-rounded individuals who can make a difference in the world.
