It was an opportunity for both the students and the PDLs to learn from each other and to see things from different perspectives. The visit was also a way to remind everyone that despite the differences in their circumstances, they are all human beings who deserve respect and kindness.

Before the program ended, the PDLs received food packs and toiletries from the visitors. The gifts were a small gesture of kindness that can go a long way in showing the PDLs that they are not alone and that people still care about them.
