QC mayor extends aid to fire victims in 6 barangays

Quezon City - Responding swiftly to the needs of residents affected by fires in six barangays, Mayor Joy Belmonte wasted no time in providing financial assistance to the affected families. A total of 19 families from Barangay North Fairview, Fairview, Commonwealth, San Bartolome, Payatas, and Sta. Lucia received financial aid to help them recover from the devastating incidents.

Recognizing the urgency of the situation, Mayor Belmonte ensured that immediate support was given to the fire victims. House owners received a financial assistance of P10,000 each, while sharers and renters were provided with P5,000 each. This assistance aims to alleviate the initial financial burden faced by the affected families and assist them in rebuilding their lives.

The distribution of financial aid was facilitated by Chief of Staff Rowena Macatao, who was joined by Barangay Payatas Punong Barangay Manny Guarin, Barangay Sta. Lucia Kagawad Michael Untalan, and Kagawad Wendy Atienza.
