SPD holds Christmas lighting ceremony
It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas at Southern Police District as it held its Ceremonial Lighting of Christmas Tree, Light, and Nativity at exactly 7:00 in the evening on the 1st day of December 2022 in front of SPD Admin Building Headquarters, Lawton Avenue Fort Bonifacio Taguig City.
The ceremony was led by the District Director, PBGEN KIRBY JOHN BRION KRAFT along with his command group, and was also witnessed by the men and women of the SPD.
The tree, strung with white lights and dressed with different decorations gave off a vibrant and holiday feeling and will be aglow nightly through the Christmas season. Among the decorations inside the camp were lanterns, and colorful Christmas lights on trees. Decors depicting the nativity scene were also set near the SPD Grandstand.
Other highlights of the activity were the blessings of Christmas Tree, Lights, and Nativity by Rev Fr. Edsel Nagrampa, St. Therese of Child Jesus and ended with the fireworks display.
