Pasig's PCIST: Celebrating 25th Certification Day

In a grand celebration of knowledge and determination, 815 graduates from 12 National Certificate (NC) II courses marked their successful completion at the 25th Certification Day of the Pasig City Institute of Science and Technology (PCIST) Sta. Lucia at Manggahan. The event took place on October 25, 2023, at the Rizal High School Gym, aligning with the 450th Araw ng Pasig.

Under the theme of "Panahon ng Pasigueño," this Certification Day stands as a tribute to the students' outstanding achievements in their chosen technical vocational courses. It symbolizes a collective commitment to advancing skills and expertise, fostering a spirit of progress.

The ceremony was graced by the presence of Pasig City's dynamic leaders, including Mayor Vico Sotto, Vice Mayor Dodot Jaworski, Jr., and Congressman Roman Romulo. Each of them extended their congratulations to the graduates, personally handing over certificates as tokens of achievement and recognition.

Looking forward, the Barangay Computer Literacy Program and Livelihood Center are set to have their own Certification Days on October 26, 2023. PCIST Bambang will follow suit on Friday, October 27, 2023.

This milestone event encapsulates Pasig City's commitment to education, skill development, and empowerment. Through programs like PCIST, the city nurtures its residents, empowering them to reach new heights in their chosen fields, ultimately contributing to a more vibrant and prosperous Pasig.
