Pasig mobilizes motorcade in observance of Fire Prevention Month
The Pasig City government, in partnership with the Bureau of Fire Protection and the Department of the Interior and Local Government, launched the Fire Prevention Month with the theme "Sa Pag-Iwas sa Sunog, Hindi Ka Nag-iisa!" on March 1, 2023.
To kick off the celebration, a motorcade was conducted around Pasig City, led by the Pasig City Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office (Pasig City DRRMO), attended by representatives from the Bureau of Fire Prevention - Pasig, Philippine National Police-Pasig, and Traffic and Parking Management Office.
Also joining were representatives from various non-government organizations and volunteer firefighters who collaborate with the local government in responding to fires in Pasig.
The Fire Prevention Month aims to raise awareness and educate the public about fire safety and prevention. It also promotes the importance of community participation in fire prevention efforts.
The Pasig City government, in collaboration with its partner agencies, will conduct various activities throughout the month to educate the public about fire safety and prevention.
The Pasig City DRRMO reminds everyone to take necessary precautions to prevent fires and to report any fire incidents immediately.
