Pasig mayor addresses several important matters

Pasig City - Mayor Vico Sotto took the opportunity to address several important matters during the weekly flag raising ceremony held in the city. While recognizing the officials, departments, and representatives of national government agencies in attendance, Mayor Vico delved into the experiences and challenges faced by the Procurement Management Office (PMO) and the Office of General Services (OGS).

Referring to the PMO and OGS, Mayor Vico expressed his appreciation for the dedication and perseverance displayed by both offices. He acknowledged the difficult situations they have encountered and the efforts they have made to overcome them. Regarding the OGS, Mayor Vico highlighted the discrepancies in inventory and other difficulties that have been gradually addressed. He noted that improvements have been observed, particularly in the Records and Motorpool Division. Turning his attention to the PMO, Mayor Vico acknowledged the challenges faced by the Bids and Awards Committee. He emphasized the importance of addressing inappropriate styles, process deficiencies, and the recovery of missing files and documents, among other concerns. Mayor Vico stressed the significance of embracing valid complaints and criticisms, as they serve as opportunities for growth and improvement.

He acknowledged that the processes implemented by the OGS and PMO have undergone significant improvements.
