Bukidnon town holds benchmarking visit in Pasig
The Municipal Government of Quezon, Bukidnon conducted a benchmarking visit to Pasig City yesterday, May 15, 2023. The visit was attended by 37 municipal and barangay officials, led by their Mayor Pablo Lorenzo III.
The benchmarking visit focused on sharing best practices of the Pasig City Government, particularly the League of Barangays and the implementation of programs and projects under the five priority thrusts of the administration.
The guests were warmly welcomed by Vice Mayor Dodot Jaworski, Councilor Angelu de Leon, and Councilor Volta delos Santos. In a brief message from the officials of Pasig City, they expressed their hope that the visitors would gain new methods and ideas that would contribute to the development of their municipality.
After the sharing of best practices, the guests had the opportunity to visit the Pasig City Session Hall and the office of Ugnayan sa Pasig, which oversees the implementation of the Freedom of Information in the city.
Benchmarking visits between local governments serve as a means to exchange best practices in various aspects of governance in a particular area. The topics of a benchmarking visit depend on the request of the visiting local government.
