Pasig recognizes honest tricycle drivers
In a brief ceremony held this morning, May 15, 2023, at the Pasig City Hall Quadrangle, the Pasig City Government extended recognition to 11 tricycle drivers from the city who have displayed exceptional honesty, particularly towards their passengers. The recognition took place alongside the weekly Flag-Raising Ceremony.
During his speech, Mayor Vico Sotto expressed his gratitude to the tricycle drivers and emphasized the importance of their integrity as role models for the people of Pasig, especially the youth. He reminded everyone that whether someone is watching or not, acknowledged or not, awarded or not, each individual should strive to live with honesty, just like these tricycle drivers.
As a token of appreciation from the Pasig City Government, in addition to the Certificate of Appreciation, the recognized tricycle drivers also received food packs and gift certificates worth PHP 2,000.00.

- Returned money amounting to PHP 29,600.00
- Randy Dival (VATODA)
- Returned money amounting to PHP 11,000.00
- Nestor Plotado (PCMTODA)
- Returned money amounting to PHP 11,907.00
- Niño Bagacina (PPMARTODA)
- Returned a cellphone and money amounting to PHP 7,000.00
- Rodel Manansala (SANSETODA)
- Returned money amounting to PHP 4,600.00
- Ireneo San Gaspar (STODA)
- Returned money amounting to PHP 3,000.00
- Arvin Mongaya (EAPPTODA)
- Returned money amounting to PHP 2,000.00 and USD 200.00
- Joebert Lariza (SSMTODA)
- Returned money amounting to PHP 98,000.00
- Raymond Masagca (PMATODA)
- Returned a check amounting to PHP 400,000.00
- Louie Diaz (SANPATODA)
- Returned a check amounting to PHP 1,300,000.00 and a land title
- Alfred Evangelista (SSMTODA)
- Returned a check amounting to PHP 300,000.00
