The City Government of Pasig has announced that nominations for the Gawad Parangal sa mga Natatanging Pasigueño are now open, in line with the celebration of the 450th Araw ng Pasig. This prestigious award aims to recognize the outstanding achievements and contributions of Pasigueños to the community and the nation as a whole.

The nomination process for the Gawad Parangal sa mga Natatanging Pasigueño is open to the public and will run from May 9, 2023, to June 20, 2023, with the selection committee accepting accomplished nomination forms and supporting documentary requirements until 11:59 PM of the deadline.

To nominate a deserving Pasigueño, interested individuals can download the nomination form through the provided link and refer to the backgrounder, list of categories, minimum qualifications, and documentary requirements. The nomination form can be downloaded in Microsoft Word format, and submissions can be made via email or physically at the 8th floor of the Pasig City Hall.


It is important to note that only nominees who meet the minimum qualifications and those with complete requirements will be assessed by the Selection Committee. The committee will then deliberate and select the deserving awardees who will be recognized and honored during the awarding ceremony on the 450th Araw ng Pasig celebration.

This year's Gawad Parangal sa mga Natatanging Pasigueño is an opportunity to honor Pasigueños who have made significant contributions in various fields, such as science and technology, arts and culture, sports, public service, education, and business, among others.
