Pasig City Gears Up for Fourth Quarter Nationwide Simultaneous Earthquake Drill
As part of its commitment to disaster preparedness, the local government of Pasig, in collaboration with the National Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council (NDRRMC) and the Office of Civil Defense (OCD), is set to conduct the Fourth Quarter Nationwide Simultaneous Earthquake Drill (NSED) on Thursday, November 9, 2023, at 9:00 AM.
Employees and visitors at Pasig City Hall are invited to actively participate in the drill by practicing the "Duck, Cover, and Hold" protocol. Additionally, an evacuation drill will be carried out, directing individuals to designated evacuation sites such as the Pasig City GAD Compound and Tanghalang Pasigueño.
The call for participation extends beyond City Hall, reaching out to barangays, schools, and private establishments across Pasig City to join the synchronized earthquake drill. The local government emphasizes the importance of cooperation from everyone in ensuring the success and effectiveness of the Fourth Quarter NSED.
