Pasay suspends number coding scheme on Dec. 2
The number coding scheme will be suspended in Pasay City on Friday, Dec.2, in time for the celebration of the 159th Pasay Day, the local government announced Thursday, according to a report by Manila Bulletin.
Mayor Emi Calixto-Rubiano said the Metropolitan Manila Development Authority (MMDA) suspended the number coding scheme in the city to give way to the Parade of Lights and the street dancing competition that will be held from EDSA Tramo to Pasay City Hall.
Rubiano said after the 3:00 p.m. activity, the colorful Christmas lights at the Pasay City Hall grounds will be switched on, with the city symphony band playing Christmas songs at 7:00 p.m.
The mayor said the celebration of 159th Pasay Day is carrying the theme “Moving Towards One Eco City”.
