Over 70 Pasay residents hired on the spot in job fair
Over 70 women from Pasay City were hired on the spot during the "Trabaho para kay Juana" job fair held on March 30, 2023 as part of the celebration of Women's Month at the Pasay Public Employment Service Office.
According to the Mother of Pasay City, Mayor Emi Calixto-Rubiano, the job opportunities are coming to the Pasayeñas. She expressed her gratitude to the partnering companies for the successful job fair. A total of 36 companies opened their doors to provide jobs for the women of Pasay City.
The job fair showcased various job vacancies in different fields, including healthcare, customer service, sales, and marketing. The applicants underwent interviews and pre-employment assessments during the fair, which was organized to connect Pasayeñas with job opportunities and to promote gender equality in the workforce.
Mayor Emi Calixto-Rubiano also shared that the local government of Pasay City continues to provide support to the constituents, especially to the women, through programs that promote their welfare and development.
The Pasay Public Employment Service Office (PESO) has been actively conducting job fairs and livelihood training programs to provide job opportunities and improve the employability of the residents of Pasay City.
The success of the "Trabaho para kay Juana" job fair is a testament to the city's commitment to promoting gender equality and empowering its women constituents by providing them with employment opportunities that match their skills and capabilities.
