Parañaque assists 14 families affected by BF Homes fire

The local government of Parañaque swiftly extended assistance to 14 families, comprising 48 individuals, who were affected by a fire in Purok 6, Sampaloc Site II, Barangay BF Homes on Wednesday.

Mayor Eric L. Olivarez, together with District 1 Congressman Edwin L. Olivarez, led the distribution of immediate relief. They personally visited the affected families who are temporarily staying at the multipurpose hall of Purok 9 and inspected the fire site.

The assistance provided by the city government included mats, blankets, clothing, hygiene kits, and food packs, along with financial aid. In addition, the city government also handed construction materials to the owners of damaged structures.

District 1 Congressman Edwin L. Olivarez, the Department of Social Welfare and Development – National Capital Region, and PAGCOR also extended immediate assistance.

Mayor Eric expressed his condolences to the fire victims and assured them that the city government would continue to support and assist them in their recovery from this tragedy.

Various city government offices, including the General Services Office under Ms. Josephine Centena, City Social Welfare and Development Department under Ms. Vivian Gabriel, and Urban Mission Areas Development Office under Ms. Shella Bernal, collaborated in the relief efforts.
