Navotas City - The Bureau of Jail Management and Penology (BJMP) National Capital Region has bestowed a Special Award upon the Navotas City Government as part of their celebration of the 32nd anniversary of their organization.

This honor recognizes Navotas City's significant contributions to advancing BJMP's vision and mission. One of these notable contributions is the showcase of handicrafts crafted by Persons Deprived of Liberty (PDLs) at the NavoNegosyo Corner. Additionally, the city has implemented programs like the Alternative Learning System, which provides PDLs with opportunities to correct their paths and prepare for their eventual reintegration into society.
