Navotas takes pride of young artist
Meet Christian Rola, a Navoteño artist who continues to celebrate National Arts Month this February. He graduated from San Jose Academy, where he was awarded Artist of the Year in 2002. He was also part of the Gintong Daliri program in 1995, sponsored by a milk product, where he received recognition and awards for editorial cartooning contests, representing Tangos mother during 1997 and 1998 when he was still in elementary school.
Currently, Christian's artworks are priced between P500 and P2,000, and clients may also request a custom-made piece based on their preferences. As a Navoteño artist, Christian Rola is an excellent example of the talent that can be found in the city.
He has a Facebook page and a YouTube channel called "Drawing for Every Juan," where he shares his art and promotes the arts in general.
As National Arts Month continues, let us support and be proud of our local artists like Christian Rola. His passion and talent for the arts are a testament to the creativity and artistic potential of the Navoteños.
