DSWD and DTI Extend Livelihood Assistance to Navotas' Micro Rice Retailers

Navotas City - The Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) and the Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) have once again provided livelihood assistance to small rice retailers in Navotas who were affected by Executive Order 39, which sets price ceilings on rice.

A total of 25 micro rice retailers in Navotas received a livelihood assistance grant amounting to P15,000 each under the Sustainable Livelihood Program.

This initiative aims to alleviate the economic challenges faced by small rice retailers in Navotas due to the price ceiling policy. The financial support provided by DSWD and DTI is part of their commitment to help local entrepreneurs overcome challenges and continue to sustain their businesses.
