Muntinlupa mayor celebrates birthday with feeding program
Muntinlupa City's Mayor Ruffy Biazon marked his 54th year by doing what he does best: Serving the people he committed to.
To celebrate the mayor's birthday, the City Government conducted simultaneous feeding activities in 44 communities from Sucat to Tunasan targeting especially those vulnerable to malnutrition.
"We are grateful to the Lord for another year of life, but we are especially thankful because this means more opportunities to serve our people, all Muntinlupeños," Biazon said.
The community feeding activity is in line with Biazon's push to eradicate or at the least, minimize the effects of childhood malnutrition in the City. This is manifested in the administration's 7K Agenda, specifically Kalusugan (health), which, when addressed properly, is expected to lead to better educational performance (Karunungan).
