Muntinlupa holds Women’s Month Mega Job Fair
About 996 job seekers attended the Mega Jobs Fair organized by the Public Employment Service Office (PESO) at the Alabang Central Market in celebration of the National Women's Month and the 28th Cityhood Anniversary of Muntinlupa last March 3.
The event was participated in by 72 companies and 5 national government agencies, namely PAG-IBIG, Philhealth, OWWA, SSS, and BIR, from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
Out of the total registered job seekers, 756 were considered "near hired" while 286 were "hired on-the-spot," which is equivalent to 28% of the total attendees.
The Kabuhayan program is one of the priority programs of Mayor Ruffy Biazon under the 7K Agenda for Muntinlupa, with the goal of providing more job opportunities for the residents.
To get more information about job opportunities, interested individuals can follow the PESO Muntinlupa Facebook page or visit the Ground Floor, Annex Building, Muntinlupa City Hall every Monday and Wednesday for regular in-house job fairs.
