Muntinlupa job fair welcomes seniors, LGBT, PWDs

In a bid to foster inclusivity, the city of Muntinlupa hosted a Jobs Fair welcoming job seekers from various backgrounds, including senior citizens, members of the LGBTQIA community, and persons with disabilities (PWDs).

The recent Jobs Fair, a regular initiative by the city, featured 2,850 job opportunities provided by 55 companies. A total of 1,129 hopefuls registered with the Public Employment Services Office (PESO), showcasing the eagerness of the local workforce to explore new opportunities.

Mayor Ruffy Biazon extended congratulations to the 167 applicants who were hired on the spot during the fair. He commended the active participation of aspirants from diverse communities, including seniors, LGBTQIA individuals, and PWDs.


The Jobs Fair saw the active engagement of 4 seniors, 25 identified LGBTQIA members, and 15 PWDs, highlighting Muntinlupa's commitment to providing equal opportunities for everyone. In addition to this, 612 applicants with various work experiences and 473 aspirants from the Pamantasan ng Lungsod ng Muntinlupa also took part in the event.

The success of the Jobs Fair not only signifies the city's commitment to economic inclusivity but also emphasizes the diverse talent pool present in Muntinlupa, contributing to the overall growth and vibrancy of the local workforce.
