The recent Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG) NCR Development Planners’ Colloquium served as the culminating event for the 2023 Comprehensive Development Plan (CDP) Assessment of Local Government Units (LGUs) across the National Capital Region (NCR).

The colloquium aimed to extract vital discoveries and recommendations from the CDP Assessment while delving into emerging concerns in integrating disaster risk reduction and climate change adaptation (DRR-CCA) into local development planning strategies.

During the event, Mayor Ruffy Biazon received the esteemed NCR Resilience Champion Award via Zoom for the city's exemplary development plan that remarkably addresses risks and fully complies with CDP forms, processes, and content within the NCR. The honor underscores Muntinlupa's commitment to proactive and comprehensive planning, acknowledging its dedication to ensuring resilience and readiness in the face of evolving challenges.
