Muntinlupa and Jollibee Collaborate to Offer Opportunities for Senior Citizens and PWDs

The City Government of Muntinlupa and Jollibee Foods Corporation Philippines, Inc. sealed an agreement through a Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) signed yesterday, November 13, 2023. This pact aims to provide job opportunities for senior citizens and Persons with Disabilities (PWDs) within the city.

The MOA, endorsed by Mayor Ruffy Biazon and JFC, opens doors for senior citizens and PWDs to gain employment at Jollibee, Burger King, and Greenwich branches. This initiative underscores the commitment to empower and integrate marginalized sectors of society into the workforce.

Attending the MOA Signing Ceremony were key figures from Jollibee Foods Corporation, Inc., including Director Mr. Gerard Juliano, Jollibee Area Manager Ms. Rose Solomon, Greenwich Operations Director Ms. Riza Masupil, Burger King Area Manager Mr. Paul Goricetta, along with City Councilors Ivy Arciaga-Tadefa, Eliot Martinez, and Jedi Presnedi. Representatives from the City Government such as PESO Head Ms. Glenda Zamora-Aniñon, OSCA Head Ms. Zenaida Celestino, PDAO Head Dr. Caryl De Guzman, SSD Head Ms. Analyn, and City Health Office Head Dr. Juancho Bunyi also graced the event.

This collaboration between the city and these well-established food corporations signifies a joint effort in advancing social inclusion and economic opportunities for underrepresented sectors, fostering a more inclusive and diverse workforce within Muntinlupa City.
