Muntinlupa mayor assists fire victims in Putatan
In an act of swift response and concern for his constituents, Mayor Ruffy Biazon visited the residents affected by a fire incident at Tepaurel Compound, Brgy. Putatan, this afternoon. The fire, which reportedly started in the early hours of the morning, originated from a nearby factory containing plastic materials and quickly spread to the residential area.
Fortunately, there were no reported casualties resulting from the incident. However, several houses in the Tepaurel Compound were engulfed by the flames, leaving families displaced and in need of immediate assistance.
Upon assessing the situation, Mayor Biazon immediately instructed the Muntinlupa City government to provide relief packs to the affected residents. Each relief pack contains essential items such as food, a kitchen kit (including cooking pans, utensils, and a stove), a family kit (consisting of clothing, towels, and slippers), a sleeping kit (including blankets, pillows, folding beds, and mosquito nets), and a hygiene kit (containing toothbrushes, toothpaste, soap, shampoo, etc.).
In addition to the relief packs, the Social Services Department (SSD) and Barangay Putatan are also providing hot meals to the affected families. The local government is currently conducting a survey to determine the necessary financial assistance that can be extended to the affected households.
During this difficult time, Mayor Biazon reminds everyone to remain cautious and vigilant. He emphasizes the importance of fire safety and encourages the community to take necessary precautions to prevent such incidents from occurring.
The Muntinlupa City government, under the leadership of Mayor Ruffy Biazon, remains committed to providing immediate aid and support to its residents during times of crisis. By promptly responding to emergencies and addressing the needs of affected individuals, the local government aims to alleviate the burdens faced by the community and help them recover from unfortunate incidents.
Mayor Biazon's visit to the fire-affected area and the subsequent provision of relief assistance demonstrate his dedication to the welfare and well-being of the people of Muntinlupa. It is through the collective efforts of the local government and the community that affected families can begin to rebuild their lives and find solace amidst challenging circumstances.
