In a game that showcased their relentless pursuit, Farm Fresh broke their losing streak by dominating Gerflor in a three-set triumph at the Smart Araneta Coliseum. The Foxies, determined to turn their luck, displayed their prowess with strategic plays and a standout performance from Camill Avila, who energized the team with six crucial points in the third set.

Though the win didn't alter their standings, it brought immense encouragement to the young Foxies, who had previously struggled to secure key sets against formidable opponents like Creamline and Cignal. Skipper Louie Romero orchestrated the game, claiming top honors for her exceptional 13-set showing, while Kate Santiago's 18 points and Trisha Tubu's impactful nine markers further fueled the Foxies' victorious stride.

Romero expressed their elation over the hard-earned win, attributing it to their unwavering dedication and rigorous training. Their thorough analysis of Gerflor's game and a conscious effort to avoid underestimating the Defenders were pivotal in sealing the victory, as shared by Romero.

Despite their 1-7 record, Farm Fresh remains committed, realizing the value of this breakthrough victory after enduring a string of 12 losses, including their previous outings in the PVL Invitational. Tubu echoed the team's sentiment, highlighting the gratification of finally reaping the rewards of their relentless efforts and teamwork.

For libero Kiara Cruz, the win was a culmination of patience and mutual support within the team, emphasizing the overwhelming joy that this victory brought to the entire squad. Gerflor, led by Jeanette Villareal and Danika Gendrauli, faced a challenging match, with Menche Tubiera's contributions not being enough against the Foxies' stronger attacking display.

While the victory may not alter their season's outcome, Farm Fresh's triumph stands as a testament to their perseverance and unity, marking a significant milestone in their journey through the Premier Volleyball League.
