Cignal, Petro Gazz face off in PVL finals 

The Cignal HD Spikers and Petro Gazz Angels will clash in the 2022 PVL Reinforced Conference Finals, according to a report by GMA News.

Cignal booked a ticket to the Finals on Tuesday at the PhilSports Arena in Pasig due to a higher set ratio, while Petro Gazz needed the Chery Tiggo Crossovers to win two sets against the Creamline Cool Smashers to have a chance for the crown.

Creamline defeated Chery Tiggo but needed five sets, 25-16, 20-25, 14-25, 25-11, 15-9, to leave the door open for Petro Gazz to take the second Finals spot. Yeliz Basa made 27 points off 22 attacks, three aces, and two blocks, while Alyssa Valdez and Jema Galanza added 18 and 12 points each.

Earlier, the Angels defeated Cignal, 25-14, 25-21, 25-27, 25-19, with Lindsey Vander Weide making 30 points.

The Finals between Cignal and Petro Gazz and the bronze-medal series between Creamline and Chery Tiggo will start on December 1.
