Wha happened
Just to be mischievous, sometimes in the text exchanges, I would inquire wha happened on a serious topic to get various reactions.
This time though, my query on wha happened is as real it can be.
I am talking about this news going around the social media platform about a certain member of the political delegation that accompanied Junior to attend the ASEAN Summit in Cambodia last month.
There was a hush-hush story, which I learned was virtually killed by the Palace drumbeaters about the so-called “call of nature” of this particular member of the delegation on a hotel staff.
Allow me to fill you in on wha happened.
When the Palace spin doctors said it was “fake news,” rightly so indeed. It was fake news simply because the person involved was not a member of the political delegation but instead, get this, business delegation.
As far as I know, members of the business as well as political delegation, unless otherwise they are on board travel ahead. Being on board is said to be a privilege as they are chosen to fly with the President. Some would even jockey for a slot as it could be equated to one being close to the primary occupant of the Palace.
And, yes he did go ahead of Junior and the official family.
Let me cut to the chase, the incident reportedly made it to the blotter.
Brings to mind the song “Shame and Scandal in the Family,” written by calypso singer Sir Lancelot for the 1943 movie “I Walked with a Zombie,” that goes: “woe is me. Shame and scandal in the family! Woe, it worries me. Shame and scandal in the family.”
Indeed, it was.
The buzzfeed I heard from my view deck is that because of ignominy, the marital partner of the person involved begged off from joining the official/political delegation of Junior.
I am on tenterhooks that the couple would be able to move on from the wha happened and reconcile this holiday season. After all, Christmas is forgiveness.
