Ka-panda shares blessings to fellow riders, street workers
In a video posted on his YouTube Channel, a foodpanda delivery rider from Olongapo City distributed almost two hundred (200) merienda packs to his fellow Ka-panda delivery partners and street workers.
Anghelo Raymundo, who has been a Ka-panda for almost two years now, also moonlights as a vlogger and often documents his daily routine and other good deeds on his social media channels.
Known for his kindness and generosity, he received the ‘Ka-panda Kalinga Award’ from foodpanda’s recently-held Golden Bamboo Awards. “Nakasanayan ko na po kasi na mag-aabot ng konting tulong sa mga nakikita kong nangangailangan sa daan.”
According to Anghelo, he wanted to give back for the recognition and share his blessings to others. “Kundi dahil sa suporta at tiwala ng mga kapwa Ka-panda ko, hind ko makukuha yung award kaya sila yung una kong naisip na i-treat sa cash prize. Yung sumobra, ipinamigay ko rin sa iba.”
“Anghelo’s story is one of the many encouraging tales of our Ka-pandas all over the country who, despite the challenges, find a way to help those in need,” says foodpanda Philippines Operations Director Patricia Jacinto. “We are very proud of him. We hope that his goodness and altruism will inspire many.”
