TV executive Deo Endrinal passes away at 60

The Philippine entertainment industry bid farewell to Roldeo "Deo" Endrinal, the esteemed head of Dreamscape Entertainment, as he passed away at the age of 60.

His son, PJ, shared the news of his father's demise on Saturday in a social media post. 

"Thank you, Daddy, for everything. You've been the best father, not just to me but to everyone who has known you. We will always remember how fortunate we are that you were in our lives," PJ wrote on Instagram.

"While this leaves a hole in my heart and will undoubtedly leave a scar, I know that you're finally free from pain and are now happily dancing in heaven because you'll undoubtedly be the life of the party up there," he added.

The post has since been flooded with tributes and heartfelt messages from celebrities and friends expressing condolences to the grieving family.

ABS-CBN described Endrinal as a "well-loved Kapamilya leader" and an "exceptional storyteller," noting that he led his team in producing programs that "have touched the lives of Filipinos worldwide."

"His contributions to the entertainment industry will always be remembered and cherished. Rest in peace, Deo. You will forever be a Kapamilya!" the media giant said.

As the head of Dreamscape, Endrinal was responsible for hit shows like "FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano," "The Broken Marriage Vow," "Dirty Linen," and "Senior High."

Endrinal had also produced iconic shows such as "The Buzz," "Game Ka Na Ba?," and "May Bukas Pa."

On social media, Vice Ganda paid tribute to Endrinal by sharing photos of them throughout the years.

 

 

"Sir Deo. My manager. My mother. My supporter. My basher. My friend. And now my angel. I will always love you. I will always be grateful to you," Vice wrote.

Aside from Vice, Gary Valenciano, Jodi Sta. Maria, Jolina Magdangal, Sunshine Dizon, Camille Prats, Janine Gutierrez, Shaina Magdayao, and Bianca Gonzalez offered their condolences to PJ and Endrinal's loved ones.

Donny Pangilinan, Andrea Brillantes, Alexa Ilacad, Maris Racal, and Darren Espanto also expressed their sympathies to the grieving family.
