Who are the stars attending the 2023 Asia Artist Awards
Mark your calendars, K-pop fans!
More artists have confirmed their attendance at this year's Asia Artist Awards, which will be held for the first time in the Philippines.
The grand event is scheduled on December 14 at the Philippine Arena in Bulacan.
Considered Asia's version of the Oscars and Grammy Awards, the AAA honors outstanding Asian artists in television, film, and music.
Here are the stars who will be attending the 2023 AAA:
1. Kim Seon-ho
Loved by Filipino fans for his role as "Good Boy" in the K-drama "Start-Up," Seon-ho has also appeared in popular shows like "Hometown Cha-Cha-Cha" and "Run On."
2. Ahn Hyo-seop
The Canadian actor-singer gained recognition for his roles in K-dramas, including "Abyss" and "Still 17."
3. Kim Se-jeong
Known as Sejeong, the singer finished second in Mnet's K-pop girl group survival show, Produce 101. She was also a former member of I.O.I, a girl group formed by 11 winners of the survival show.
4. Moon Ga-young
The South Korean actress has made a mark with her roles in K-dramas "True Beauty" and "Tempted."
5. Stray Kids
The popular South Korean boy group is celebrated for their hit songs like "God's Menu," "Miroh," and "Back Door."
6. ITZY
Popular for upbeat tracks "Wannabe" and "ICY," ITZY is a five-member group formed by JYP Entertainment.
7. Kwon Eunbi
She debuted as a member of the short-lived girl group, Ye-A, under the stage name Kazoo in 2014 before pursuing a solo career under Woollim Entertainment.
8. The Boyz
A South Korean boy group composed of 11 members, The Boyz has gained popularity for their impressive performances and visuals. They have released songs like "The Stealer" and "Bloom Bloom."
9. LE SSERAFIM
The group's name is an anagram for the phrase "I'm Fearless." The five-member girl group consists of former IZ*ONE members Chaewon and Sakura along with Yunjin, Kazuha, and Eunchae.
10. NMIXX
Formed by SQU4D, a sub-label of JYP Entertainment, the South Korean girl group debuted with songs like "AD MARE" and "O.O."
11. NewJeans
Known for their hit song "OMG," the five-member girl group gained prominence upon their debut in 2022 with a girl-next-door image.
12. BOYNEXTDOOR
Consisting of six members, the South Korean boy group debuted last May and has already released two albums, "Who!" and "Why.."
13. ZEROBASEONE
The nine-member boy group in South Korea was formed through Mnet's reality competition Boys Planet.
14. &TEAM
Comprising nine Japanese members, the boy group is based in South Korea and formed by Hybe Labels Japan.
IVE's Jang Wonyoung, Kang Daniel, and ZEROBASEONE's Sung Han Bin will host the AAA.
Ticket sales are set to open on November 12.
