Janella Salvador, Jane de Leon to reunite in new film

Janella Salvador and Jane de Leon are coming together for their first movie.

The IdeaFirst Company revealed that the film, "How To Be A Good Wife," will be directed by Jun Robles Lana. It is written by Keavy Eunice E. Vicente and Fatrick R. Tabada.

"J x J x J = Janella Salvador and Jane de Leon in a new film by Jun Robles Lana! 'How To Be A Good Wife,'" their post on X (Twitter) read.

The upcoming film also stars Susan Africa.

Janella shared her excitement to work with her "Darna" co-star.

The two Kapamilya stars worked together last year in the Mars Ravelo’s "Darna" as Darna and Valentina. Their chemistry sparked a fandom that has been calling for a follow-up project for both actresses.

"SO HAPPY TO WORK WITH YOU AGAIN MWAH," Janella wrote on X.

"We’re ready for this," Jane said.

Details have yet to be revealed on the premise of the film.

Lana, however, said the film was "smartly and deliciously written, not the story you expect it to be."
