Manila dentists provide young students with dental services
In an effort to promote good oral health among the youth of Manila, dentists from the City of Manila Dental Services in the Manila Health Department District I conducted various dental procedures and provided dental freebies at Isabelo Elementary School. The services provided include fluoride application, sealant treatment, permanent filling, extraction, and distribution of toothbrushes and toothpaste to the first-grade students.
The initiative is part of the government's goal to create an "Orally Fit Manilenyo" by educating young people about the importance of oral hygiene and preventive dental care. The dentists emphasized the value of regular brushing after meals and before bedtime to maintain healthy teeth and gums.
The young students were grateful for the services provided by the dental team, who not only treated their dental issues but also taught them the proper way of brushing and taking care of their teeth. The dental freebies, including toothbrushes and toothpaste, will also help them continue their dental hygiene routine at home.
The Manila City government hopes that through these efforts, young Manileños will have stronger, healthier teeth and a brighter smile, giving them the confidence to face the world.
