Manila sustains clean-up activities in beach areas and Baywalk
Manila City continues to prioritize cleanliness and environmental conservation through regular clean-up activities in different parts of the city. On Tuesday, March 21, 2023, the Department of Public Services-Manila, under the leadership of Mayor Dra. Honey Lacuna, spearheaded another clean-up activity in the Baywalk, Roxas Boulevard, and Baseco Beach Port District V areas.
The clean-up activity was participated by the DPS Team Mandaragat and DPS Baseco Beach Warriors, who worked tirelessly to ensure that the beachfront and surrounding areas remain clean and free from litter. Their efforts aim to promote sustainable tourism and protect the marine life in the area.
Mayor Lacuna emphasizes the importance of keeping the city clean and green, not only for aesthetic purposes but also for the health and safety of the residents. She also encourages the public to participate in the city's cleanliness drive and to be responsible for their own waste.
The DPS-Manila continues to conduct regular clean-up activities in different parts of the city to ensure that the streets, parks, and beaches are free from litter and debris. They also encourage the public to properly dispose of their trash and to segregate their waste.
Aside from clean-up activities, the DPS-Manila also conducts regular maintenance of public parks and gardens, installation of trash bins, and other initiatives to keep the city clean and green.
