The SPES program is a flagship program of the government that provides temporary employment to students during summer or Christmas vacation to augment their financial needs. The program is implemented by the Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE) in coordination with local government units (LGUs).

The Malabon City PESO is responsible for the implementation and monitoring of the program in Malabon. The office is in charge of identifying employers and companies that can provide temporary employment opportunities to qualified students and out of school youth in the city.

The program not only helps the participants but also contributes to the economy of the city. The employment generated from the program provides temporary employment opportunities that help in the creation of economic activities in the city.

For any inquiries, students and out of school youth may contact the Malabon City PESO. With the SPES program, Malabon City continues to provide opportunities for its youth to gain experience, learn new skills, and earn a living.
