Mayor Sandoval Distributes National Social Pension to Seniors in Malabon
Malabon City - In a heartfelt display of care and support for Malabon City's senior citizens, Mayor Jeannie Sandoval recently oversaw the distribution of National Social Pension benefits. The event took place at the Diwa Covered Court in Barangay Tugatog, where more than 1,300 senior citizens received assistance.
Mayor Sandoval, who has consistently championed initiatives to uplift the lives of senior citizens in Malabon, emphasized the importance of these pension benefits in helping cover the daily expenses of the elderly. She expressed her hope that the financial aid provided would significantly ease the financial burden that some of them may be facing.
In her statement, Mayor Sandoval said, "Sunod-sunod parin po ang pamimigay natin ng National Social Pension sa ating mga senior citizens. Ngayong araw, namahagi po tayo sa ating mga residente dito sa Diwa Covered Court, Brgy. Tugatog kung saan mahigit 1,300 senior citizens ang ating natulungan."
