Malabon launches gov't internship program
Malabon City - In a bid to provide residents with the opportunity to experience working in the government sector, Malabon City officially launched its Government Internship Program. Recently, an orientation was held in collaboration with the Malabon Employment Services Office and the Department of Labor and Employment, with a total of 60 individuals participating.
The program is open to residents aged 18 to 30 and aims to give them a chance to serve the community through working in various government offices within Malabon City.
Mayor Jeannie Sandoval of Malabon City stated, "Here in Malabon, many of us have the spirit of public service in our hearts, which is why our government has launched the Government Internship Program, providing our residents with the opportunity to work in the government sector."
The orientation, led by the Public Employment Service Office and the Department of Labor and Employment, saw the enthusiastic participation of 60 individuals who are eager to explore potential career paths in public service.
Mayor Sandoval further expressed her belief in the program's capacity to empower residents and provide them with valuable professional experience. By working in the government sector, interns will not only contribute to the betterment of Malabon City but also gain insights into the intricacies of public service.
