Another Rockwell Makati resident tests positive for COVID-19
Another tenant at Rockwell Center in Makati City tested positive for the coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19).
Rockwell Land Corporation confirmed the news in its advisory.
“As of March 14, 2020, we can confirm a positive case of COVID-19 in Rizal Tower bringing the total number of confirmed cases in Rockwell Center to three,” it said.
According to the company, they have started to do contact tracing on those who may have possibly come in contact with the resident and advised those who may have had any contact with the patient to go on self-quarantine as well.
“We have also begun an important contact tracing process. We are informing those found to have been in close contact with the resident to go on self-quarantine as well,” the company said in a statement.
The company will also be limiting the entry and exit at the building to reduce the possibility of any further transmission.
It was not mentioned in the advisory whether the resident was among the country’s confirmed COVID-19 cases in the list of the Department of Health.
