The recent accolade, bestowed by the Supreme Court of the Philippines, commends UMak SOL as the foremost institution among law schools with 50 or fewer bar exam takers, following an outstanding 94.12 percent passing rate in the September 2023 bar examinations.

Mayor Abby Binay, lauding this achievement as a testament to Makati City's dedication to superior education, emphasized the institution's founding principles established by former Vice President Jejomar Binay. Initiated six years ago during Mayor Abby's first term, UMak SOL has consistently provided full scholarships to deserving Juris Doctor program applicants from across the nation, supported by the unwavering commitment and funding from the City Government of Makati.

Expressing her pride in the school's success, Mayor Abby congratulated the 32 triumphant bar examinees from UMak SOL, including the 14th placer, Atty. Yvette Veronique De Guzman Rueda, who secured an impressive 87.87 percent score.

With a message resonating beyond academic achievement, Mayor Abby urged the new lawyers to embody the core values of the legal profession. She emphasized the importance of advocating for justice and upholding the rule of law to contribute to a harmonious and progressive society.

UMak SOL's roster of successful graduates includes a cohort of 31 new lawyers, each carrying the torch of legal excellence. Alongside their academic pursuits, scholars at UMak SOL benefit from comprehensive support, receiving not only tuition waivers but also a monthly allowance of P10,000 and a P20,000-book stipend for two semesters annually.

Distinguished by its commitment to accessible education, UMak SOL is part of the University of Makati, the nation's pioneering ISO-certified local university.
