Makati conducts restores roads in 3 barangays

To ensure clean and safe roads in the city, the Department of Engineering and Public Works (DEPW) conducted road repair and restoration works in Barangays Pio del Pilar, Poblacion, and San Isidro. The efforts of the department are part of the government's commitment to providing prompt public services to maintain order and safety for every Makatizen.

On the first day of road repair and restoration works, DEPW workers conducted clearing operations, pothole repairs, and repainting of road markings in Barangay Pio del Pilar. In Barangay Poblacion, workers focused on restoring damaged pedestrian lanes and installing new street signs, while in Barangay San Isidro, workers conducted asphalt overlaying and road repairs on damaged concrete pavement.

The road repair and restoration works were warmly received by the residents of the three barangays who expressed their gratitude for the government's effort to improve their daily commute. They also expressed hope that the government will continue its efforts to ensure clean and safe roads for all Makatizens.

The DEPW assured the residents that they will continue to conduct regular road maintenance to ensure the safety and convenience of the public. The department also appealed to the public to report any road-related concerns or issues to their office for prompt action.

With the government's commitment to providing efficient and reliable public services, the DEPW will continue to work towards a cleaner and safer city for every Makatizen.
