Las Pinas holds mega job fair on March 27

Las Piñas City celebrated its 26th cityhood anniversary on March 27 by hosting a mega job fair at the Robin's Place Las Piñas Ground Atrium, organized by the Public Employment Service Office (PESO).

The event saw the participation of 18 companies and six national agencies, providing a total of 278 job opportunities. Of these, 34 applicants were hired on the spot.

Among the companies that participated were AeroPlus Multi Services, Alorica, BestOption Assistance, Bioessence, Bleu Rose Employment, Coffee Bean, Concentrix, Fieldmen Janitorial, Hernando Manpower, Hi Speed Manpower Services, Jammas Inc., JR & R Distributors, National Book Store, OK BET, Robinsons Supermarket, St. Emilion, Staff Search Asia, and Starboard Manpower. The national agencies that joined the event were the Bureau of Internal Revenue (BIR), National Bureau of Investigation (NBI), Social Security System (SSS), Philippine Health Insurance Corporation (PhilHealth), Home Development Mutual Fund (Pag-IBIG), and Overseas Workers Welfare Administration (OWWA).

The job fair aimed to provide job opportunities to residents and help address the issue of unemployment. The event also sought to support the city's vision of becoming a more progressive and competitive city, in line with its commitment to promoting economic growth and development.

Las Piñas City Mayor Imelda Aguilar expressed her gratitude to the companies and national agencies that participated in the job fair, saying that the event provided hope and opportunities for job seekers. The city government plans to hold similar events in the future to help more residents find employment and contribute to the city's growth.
